Why two minutes
Two minutes is the time dentists commonly recommend for brushing. It sounds short until you time it: most of us stop well before.
Splitting the mouth into four zones turns two long minutes into four short ones.
The four zones
Upper right, upper left, lower left, lower right. Thirty seconds each, outer surfaces, inner surfaces, then the tops.
BLOOM marks each quarter with a soft pulse, so you never need to count.
Let the device do the work
With a sonic brush there is no need to scrub. Guide the head slowly along the gum line and let the movement come from the brush.
Light pressure is enough. If your gums feel sensitive, choose the gentlest mode for the first weeks.
Make it yours
Some prefer to floss with water first and brush after; others the other way round. Choose an order and keep it: repetition is what turns a habit into a ritual.
